Kamp Kiwanis Daytrip

June 14, 2018

8:00 – attendance in the classroom/students will prepare their belongings to leave the building

8:15 – bus will leave the school

9:00 – bus arrives at Kamp Kiwanis

9:00 – 9:30 – orientation for the students and volunteers to Kamp with community meeting/snack/washroom break

9:30 – 11:30 – the large group of students will be broken into smaller groups for activity time.  Students will go with the counselors and volunteers to complete their activities:

11:30 – 12:00 – campfire lunch break – students will eat at K ring area.  In the event of weather they will be able to eat in the day lodge.

12:00 – 1:30 - Coyotes and Hares – a large group learning activity in the forest

1:30 - 1:45 – washroom and clean up time

1:40 – leave the camp

2:30 – arrive back at Beddington Heights
