Nose Hill

We would like to end our year off with a walk up Nose Hill.  It fits into many parts of our curriculum and it is in our neighborhood.  To do so we will need your help.  Volunteers will be required for Wednesday June 27 in the morning.  We would like to walk up to Nose Hill, snack, note some of the features of Nose Hill, play Coyotes and Hares and return to the school for lunch.  If you can help out please drop me an email or call.  Thanks for helping us make that happen for our students.

Our work continued today and we found out that a cylindrical pillar will hod more mass because the weight is distributed evenly.  This is something to keep in mind as you are building bridges at home.

Animals belong to a classification system and today we dumped everything we know about mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects onto our papers.  We talked about things like eggs, teeth, wings, fur etc. as we continue our work with life cycles.

Bridge project due Monday June 25
